Columbia River Gorge
Here is learned that the massive Columbia River cuts through the Cascade Mountain Range. The result is a 3,000 ft. deep gorge that streches for 100 miles!
Alaska
Wow! Alaska is some of the most expansive, ruggedly beautiful countryside in the USA! We learned about the Iditarod here and it reminded us of "Stone Fox."
