Montgomery, Alabama

At this stop, we learned that Montgomery, Alabama was the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement. The students read and wrote a poem about life today compared to that of the 1950's, when segregation was the way of life. We held our own Civil Rights march and created signs that promoted equality.
