Our Friends in South Korea
This year we will be working on an exciting new project. Our class is going to "buddy" up with a class from South Korea in an effort to learn more about each other's cultures. Each student will be paired with an e-pal and will communicate with him/her in various ways. By doing so, we will also be learning alot about the endless communication methods made possible by the internet and technology. Some of the ways that we will exchange information include: podcasts, e-mails, skyping, video chat, blogging, and even "snail mail."

A Visit from "Hye In": Korean Exchange Student
On Friday, October 24, we had a very special visit from an exchange student named Hye. Like our penpals, she is from Gwangju, South Korea. Hye taught us about traditional clothing, food, money and language. Listen to a podcast of her singing "Happy Birthday" on our podcast page.
